--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Goal: Similarly to the previous editions, the goal is to gather
together researchers interested in membrane computing (theory and
applications), for exchanging ideas, problems, solutions, for
working together, in a friendly framework. Only short and
provocative presentations will be scheduled in the first days, then
the time will be mainly devoted to joint work. Those interested in
having such presentations should inform the organizers some days
before the meeting. The participants are strongly encouraged to
circulate open problems and research proposals by internet (e.g.,
posting the problems in the Vienna P page: www.ppage.psystems.eu).

pre-proceedings volume will be published as a research report of
RGNC. Then, a selection of final papers will be published in a
special issue of a journal (as it was the case with the first sixt
editions: Natural Computing and New Generation Computing for BWMC
2003, Journal of Universal Computer Science and
Soft Computing for BWMC 2004, International
Journal of Foundations of Computer Science for BWMC 2005,
Theoretical Computer Science for BWMC 2006, Journal of Unconventional
Computing for BWMC 2007, and Fundamenta Informaticae for BWMC 2008).
Web page: News will be communicated through the Vienna P page,
http://ppage.psystems.eu
Other relevant details: No registration fee will be requested, but
the participants have to cover all costs related to their
participation. Several accommodation options will exist (including
