Specifically, we consider P systems with objects placed on membranes, and processed by membrane operations. The operations used in this paper are membrane creation (cre), and membrane dissolution (dis), defined in a way which reminds the operations pino, exo from a brane calculus from [1]. For P systems based on these operations we prove the universality, for one of the two possible variants of the operations; for the other variant the problem remains open.</style>
<issue><style face="normal" font="default" size="100%">1</style></issue></record></records></xml>
